How YMP Came to Life

The best ideas come from unexpected places. For us, it started on a laid-back weekend in Austin, Texas—a city known for its culture, people-watching, and great drinks.

We were at a small bar, the kind that’s perfect for a cold beer and a few laughs. After a quick trip to the restroom, I noticed some interesting writing on the wall. Curious, I asked my husband about it. He laughed and explained the joke—but I wasn’t convinced.

So, naturally, I asked the bartender. He laughed, confirmed it, and threw in a joke of his own. We couldn’t stop laughing.

That’s when the idea sparked.

Back at our table, fueled by humor and conversation, we started brainstorming. We wanted something bold, funny, and just the right amount of classy.
